![]() Yesterday, Bungie released a new Wednesday blog post talking about some of the new weapons buffs and nerfs that players can expect going into the Lightfall expansion later this month. Speaking of the Anarchy grenade launcher, for quite some time, it was considered the best DPS weapon in Destiny 2, until Bungie pulled the plug and nerfed the magazine size and hot-swapping, but that might be changing soon. ![]() Some of these exotic weapons include Arbalest, Anarchy, and Izanagi’s Burden. Xenophage’s slow fire rate and small magazine for an LMG don’t stop it from dealing out some of the best boss damage around.Back in year 2, Bungie released some of the best exotics in Destiny 2 that are still being used inside PvP and endgame PvE activities. Have you ever seen six Laments against raid bosses? It’s some of the highest DPS in the game, period. One of the best Void heavy weapons in the game, this LMG dominates in PvE activities. The Duality dungeon’s best weapon is this three-round burst linear fusion rifle, which is a popular DPS choice for bosses. The Strand LMG from Neomuna is a powerful addition to any Strand build. It’s craftable at the Enclave on Mars, too. Taipan-4FR Screengrab via BungieĪ new general loot pool weapon added in Season of Plunder, the Taipan immediately became a meta choice for raid boss DPS, especially in King’s Fall. The addition of a catalyst that adds a third rocket makes this long-forgotten weapon a force to be reckoned with. This slug shotgun is still a great Kinetic weapon slot option for boss DPS. It’s good for crowd control and single-target DPS alike. This Vow of the Disciple breach-loaded GL is excellent on Arc classes when crafted to have the Chain Reaction perk. Taking down hordes of enemies has never been as fun as with Osteo Striga, which spreads toxic clouds as it takes things down. One of the better Kinetic weapon options for PvP and PvE alike is the new assault rifle from the Root of Nightmares raid, which pairs very nicely with the new Strand subclasses. CALUS Mini-Tool Screengrab via BungieĪ must-have for some Solar builds, this SMG found in Season of the Haunted can roll with Incandescent, which explodes enemies with Solar energy final blows. The Garden of Salvation raid’s Exotic is still the best when it comes to boss DPS.
